We found this family of 5 living on the side of a major road in Delhi. They have been living at this location in a home-made tent since 2008. The father (Ganesh) is a laborer and also watchman for a local bungalow. The rest of the family sells tea to the locals. Combined monthly income of this family is around Rs. 3,000 ($75 Cdn.).
Support Required
Based on our conversation with the family and our own assessment, we feel the following would greatly help their situation.

Justification |
Amount $ (Cdn) |
| Tent | This family lives in a home-made tent that barely provides enough shelter from the elements. We feel a water proof tent would better shelter the family from the elements. |

Warm clothing / slippers |
We also noticed some members of the family were not dressed according to the winter climate and feel they could use warm clothes and slippers to cover their feet. |
