Locating cases based on our criteria is the most difficult and critical step of this process. There are ample cases that could use our assistance.  Unfortunately, we have to be very selective due to limited time and resources.  Our objective is to focus and attend to only those that meet the criteria listed below.

Case Selection Criteria

• Situation of individual(s) / family must be severe.
• Must not be caused by drug / alcohol abuse.
• Must not have any kind of reputation of deceit / fraud.
• Must be making a reasonable effort to overcome their situation.

The committee meets on a regular basis to evaluate all new / existing cases.  The objective of the committee is to ensure the presented information by the case locator is accurate.  After reviewing all facts, the committee makes a decision to accept or decline the case. With assistance of the case locator, the committee also decides on the method of assistance for each case.

If the case does not meet the criteria listed above, the case is rejected by the committee.  The case locator is notified of the reasons behind our decision. 

Once the case is accepted by the committee, it is added to the website.  At that time any visitor to the website can sponsor the case. We update the website on a regular basis with the pledges and updates to cases as they become available.
